We delivered over 40,000 eco-friendly seats to Eintracht Frankfurt Stadium
Replacing over 40,000 seats at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt marks another important step in our mission to support sustainable stadium modernization.

From the outset, Eintracht Frankfurt made it clear that this project was about more than just aesthetics. The club was looking for a solution that would resonate emotionally with fans while aligning with its sustainability goals.
The seat replacement was an emotional decision – we wanted to show that the stadium belongs to the club and the supporters. At the same time, we’re an environmentally conscious organization. We couldn’t just throw away perfectly good seats. It had to be done in a sustainable way.

The old seats were given a second life: some were bought by fans, others donated to schools and local sports clubs, and the remaining ones were processed into granules for reuse.
The new material, developed by Grupa Azoty Compounding, had to meet exceptionally high standards in terms of durability and safety.

Being part of this project was a true milestone for us. It showcased the full potential of our company – from lab expertise to creating a custom compound tailored to the client’s needs.

In total, we installed over 40,000 Omega bucket seats and more than 100 Sigma folding seats – all made from the eco-friendly compound. The installation took place in phases between June and August 2023, allowing the stadium to remain fully operational throughout.
All seats comply with the highest European standards for flame resistance (DIN EN 4102, class B1), UV resistance, and mechanical strength (GS / DIN EN 12727, level 4).
