The municipal stadium is the main football and speedway arena in Rybnik. Last year, it underwent a renovation that included replacing the old seats. The key requirements of the tender were environmental issues.
In addition to delivering the new seating, the old ones had to be disposed of, simultaneously complying with the clean transportation requirements. Forum brand met all the prerequisites, and what's more, thanks to our technological capabilities, we recycled the old seats into new products.
Our assembly team dismantled the old plastic stadium seats. The next step was to shred them into pellets at our plants. Finally, we used them to make new plastic seats. Polypropylene, from which both the old and new seats were made, is a 100% renewable material and can last for many years in various forms.
Over 6,000 new Omega seats filled the stadium’s bleachers. The new chairs improve comfort and safety. It stays dry even in rainy weather thanks to the four holes that drain water. Additionally, dust and debris don't accumulate behind because it is not mounted directly to the concrete step.
