Our seats filled six stadiums at the last World Cup in Qatar
The Polish national team’s participation in football’s biggest tournament was not the only Polish highlight of the championship. Products from our Forum by Nowy Styl brand were installed in as many as six of the eight stadiums. Fans from all over the world were able to cheer on their teams from stands filled with Polish-made seats.

Z myślą o sportowych emocjach

Al Janoub Stadium
The first of the completed stadiums was the 40,000-seat Al Janoub, opened in May 2019. Its stands were fitted with Abacus seats, regarded as some of the best stadium seating in the world. They had previously been installed at venues such as Silesian Stadium, Parc Olympique in Lyon, the National Stadium in Budapest, and Allianz Riviera in Nice. The distinctive form of Al Janoub Stadium was designed by the renowned Zaha Hadid architectural studio, while the wave-inspired color scheme of the stands was proposed by our specialists.

Abacus seat
The largest venue is Lusail Stadium, with a capacity of up to 86,000 spectators. Its futuristic form draws on the shapes of traditional vessels from the region, while its remarkable golden façade dazzles anyone who sees it from afar. This is the stadium hosted the World Cup final. The pattern created by the seats reflects the stadium’s façade, ensuring architectural and visual coherence.

For the fans

974 Stadium
Blue Omega bucket seats were installed in the stands of Stadium 974. The same model was used at the 2010 World Cup stadiums in South Africa (Cape Town and Nelspruit) and during EURO 2020 at the National Stadium in Bucharest. It was at this stadium that the Polish team played two group-stage matches: the first against Mexico on November 22 and the second against Argentina on November 30.

The other World Cup venues include Ahmad bin Ali Stadium, featuring bold patterns of two red-and-black lions in the stands behind the goals, and Education City Stadium, where Robert Lewandowski celebrated victory in the 2021 World Cup.

The opening match was played at Al Bayt Stadium, whose shape resembles a Bedouin tent. Its color scheme is a tribute to tradition, while the regular geometric pattern with black-and-white detailing reflects the interiors of traditional Arab tents. All these ornaments are created using Forum seats - Abacus and Omega models.

The second life

Stadiums designed for the future.
Each stadium has sections of seating that can be dismantled so that, after the tournament, the venue can be adapted to the needs of local fans. The removable upper-tier sections will be reused in other sports facilities in Qatar as well as in African countries. This approach aligns with a philosophy of material reuse. The Qatari organizing committee is the first to implement such a consistent strategy for repurposing World Cup infrastructure.

The standard seating for six stadiums is the result of a collaboration between Nowy Styl and its Qatari partner, Coastal Qatar. Technology transfer during the production setup, along with ongoing factory support, ensured the project was executed at a world-class level. The seats manufactured in Qatar meet the highest quality standards.

In addition to standard seating, Forum by Nowy Styl produced and delivered premium armchairs for the most prestigious boxes and VIP sections from its factories in Jasło.
