Sustainable solution – Rybnik City Stadium
In addition to supplying new seats, the project required the safe disposal of old ones and compliance with clean transport regulations. Forum by Nowy Styl met all the requirements — and went even further. Thanks to our advanced technological capabilities, we were able to recycle the old seats into new products.
The dismantled plastic stadium seats were shredded into granulate, which was then reused to produce new plastic components. The polypropylene used for both the old and new seats is 100% recyclable and can serve in various forms for many years.
Over 6,000 new Omega seats were installed on the stadium’s grandstands. The upgrade improved both comfort and safety. Each seat includes four drainage holes, ensuring that rainwater is easily removed and the seat stays clean and dry. Importantly, the seats are not fixed directly to the step, which prevents the build-up of dust and debris behind them.
