Entering history
In autumn 2023, the Museum of Polish History officially opened its doors – one of the most advanced cultural institutions in this part of Europe, located within the historic Warsaw Citadel. This monumental project, designed by WXCA architectural studio, offers visitors a journey through a thousand years of Polish history. As part of the investment, we supplied seating for two key spaces: the auditorium and the cinema-theatre hall.

This project marked an important milestone in our portfolio, introducing a completely new seat model – Sawa, designed specifically for this venue.
In close collaboration with the investor, architects, and the general contractor Budimex, we developed a seat that meets the high functional demands of modern public spaces. Sawa combines a minimalist silhouette with comfort and durability. It features multi-density foam, flexible seat support straps, and a silent close mechanism. Additionally, the seat and backrest can be quickly removed without disturbing the entire row – a practical solution for high-traffic environments.
Each seat in the auditorium is upholstered in high-quality wool fabric in warm brown tones, with embroidered gold thread numbering. The 577-seat auditorium was built using a "box in box" construction method, ensuring excellent acoustic insulation. Both the seats and the entire hall were designed to accommodate a wide variety of events – from conferences and lectures to live performances.

In the cinema-theatre space, we installed our Tiago Aida seats – a model long trusted for similar applications. Its cubic form complements the architectural language of the interior, while the grey upholstery harmonises with the auditorium, creating a unified and coherent aesthetic across both spaces.
